Monday March 28th The textbook talks about the three different scales, which are local, national and global. Gas and oil prices have skyrocketed locally and globally around the world which has caused an enormous issue on a few different scales. This started happening during the pandemic because there was a halt in drilling wells and then unfortunately continued to get worst. This is affecting many people especially lower wage earners. The economy is getting hit hard globally because people are spending less on things they would have regularly. Both scales are affected because there are many different issues that are concerning this and revolved around the increase in prices around the world. Not only has there evidently been a decrease in consumer spending but also global warming has been harmed as well. Big businesses and companies internationally are seeing change, but also everyday citizens are as well and that is why this problem is different across the local and global scales....
